Application for a student visa to Switzerland

• The application form for a C visa (also called a Schengen visa) is for stays of up to 90 days within a six-month period in the Schengen Area (for tourism or visiting purposes, for example). Only nationals of certain countries need a visa for such stays.

• The application form for a national visa D – for stays of more than three months.

Please submit the completed form to the Swiss representation in your country. You will then be required to provide several supporting documents to accompany your visa application. Submit your application well in advance, as the process can take several months. A visa costs on average 60 euros, plus processing fees.
