One program, two diplomas

Designed with academic and professional development in mind, the 1-year SBC program is a comprehensive introduction to Business and Management. The SBC program leads to two complementary diplomas – the Swiss Business Certificate and the ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Management – and helps students develop valuable professional and academic skills. Whether students want to kick-start their undergraduate studies, or are seeking a vocational training course, the SBC program will give students the skills they need to achieve their long-term business goals.

Swiss Business Certificate

Employers are asking more and more from their employees : in order to help them stay ahead of the curve, Business Links Lausanne has created the Swiss Business Certificate (SBC). Taught by experienced finance and management specialists, this program is a complete introductory course that covers a wide range of topics in business and management. This course gives students a solid set of practical business skills that are directly applicable in a professional setting. Placing strong emphasis on Swiss business, social, legal and political practices, the SBC also gives students a broad overview of Swiss society and culture.

ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Management

Developed in conjunction with the SCPU Business School, the SBC program integrates the ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management. This diploma, accredited by the U.K. Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations (OFQUAL), has been designed for students seeking to progress towards a University degree. Successful completion of the Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management qualifies students for the second year of a Bachelor’s degree in a number of universities in the U.K., Canada, and Australia. The range of possible progression routes can be found on the ATHE website.
